At Euro Auto Tech & Smog, we performed a complete oil and filter change to ensure clean lubrication and optimal engine performance. We also conducted a full DTC scan to check for any underlying issues, followed by an ECU reflash to update the vehicle’s software for better performance and drivability. This service helps keep your engine running smoothly while addressing any hidden trouble codes that could affect long-term reliability.

At Euro Auto Tech & Smog, we often see 2017 BMW 340i models come in with two major concerns: coolant system failures and valve cover/PCV-related issues. These are particularly common with BMW’s B58 engine, which is known to suffer from early water pump failures if maintenance is skipped. In this visit, we performed a thorough inspection of the PCV and valve cover components and flushed the cooling system. These preventive steps help avoid costly overheating problems and oil leaks that can cause a real mess under the hood. When done proactively, maintenance like this doesn’t just prevent headaches—it preserves the performance and longevity of your BMW. Because fixing a failure is always more expensive than preventing one.

This 2011 BMW 328i rolled into Euro Auto Tech & Smog with a frustrating electrical issue: the windows were stuck down, and none of the interior lights would turn on. For BMW enthusiasts and techs alike, this is a familiar scenario. The culprit? The Footwell Module (FRM) , the command center for lights, mirrors, and window operations. When this module fails, it brings electrical functions to a halt. After a thorough diagnostic process, including fuse checks, power/ground verification, and connector inspection, we confirmed that the FRM was corrupted. We replaced and reprogrammed the module, fully restoring system functionality. Windows rolled up, lights came back on, and the customer drove away with everything working like new. Another electrical mystery solved, because that’s how we do it at Euro Auto Tech & Smog.

At Euro Auto Tech & Smog, we understand that high-performance vehicles like the 2016 Porsche Boxster Spyder demand more than just admiration, they need expert care. This particular model, known for its lightweight design and 375 horsepower of naturally aspirated precision, came to us in need of essential maintenance. We performed a much-needed oil and filter change using Liqui Moly products, along with a full inspection of critical systems including the drive belt, brake fluid, coolant, and spark plugs per the manufacturer’s schedule. With our expert touch, the Spyder was back on the road, revving smoothly and ready for more. Even legends need a little TLC, and we’re here to keep them performing at their best.

At Euro Auto Tech & Smog, we recently performed a Service A on a 2014 Porsche Cayenne Diesel—an impressive SUV known for its torque and performance. But keeping it running strong takes more than just the occasional oil change.

This 2017 Audi Q7 arrived with a loud whistling coming from the crankcase vent valve (PCV) and a noticeable coolant leak. Our team quickly diagnosed the PCV as the source of the whistle, while a cooling system pressure test pinpointed the thermostat housing and water pump as the culprits for the leak. We also discovered coolant leaking from the supercharger manifold pipe. To address both the original and related issues, we replaced the PCV and associated components, including fuel injector o-rings, breather hoses, and intake gaskets, along with the thermostat housing, water pump, and manifold gaskets. The coolant system was fully flushed and refilled, and we performed a fresh oil change and spark plug replacement for added reliability.
